McKinney Surgery Center's normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Cancellations or Rescheduling
To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise. If we are seriously delayed, we attempt to notify patients beforehand.

We obtain your insurance information from your physician's office and then call the insurance company to verify benefits, coverage and out-of-pocket expenses. Our insurance clerk will then call you to discuss the information.
Billing/Payment Questions - 972-547-1591
We will submit the claim to your insurance carrier within 72 hours of your surgery.
PreOp Nurse - 972-547-1586
The pre-operative nurse will call approximately 2-4 days prior to your surgery day. She will go over your medical history, medications and give you preop instructions. McKinney Surgery Center also offers electronic patient registration. Utilizing this service allows the patient to answer all pre-operative surgical questions at their own pace, convenience, and in the privacy of their own home or office.

Generally, your surgeon's office will schedule your procedure through our surgical secretary. If you have specific questions, call your surgeon's office first.
Outside organizations can quickly and easily request the verification of physicians in good standing at an HCA facility. The requesting organization may self generate and print a verification letter.
